Year 9 students, aged 13–14, from Langley Academy worked with us throughout the creation of Pain Less to make sure the exhibition is fun and relevant to the next generation of science enthusiasts.

Not only did the group help us with the content of our Pain Less exhibition, but they got together with game makers ThoughtDen to create a game.

Want to play?… Have a go at Ouch!

Can you beat our high scores? The competition is fierce – blistered fingers all round!

This is incredibly creative. I am glad you recruited the younger generation to collaborate with you. The mind of a kid is organic and thought provoking. I played the game and was quite impressed by these 13 year old’s. Hopefully you continue to inspire young minds. Thanks for the article.

This is so cute and fun! I love this kind of educational gameplay. I especially love how you can gain tolerance for pain pills! This is so well done, especially for a 13 year old.
